Difference Between Wild Rice and Black Rice
Black and wild rice are not identical despite the fact that they are both categorized as whole grains and may share a similar appearance in color and flavor. In contrast to conventional rice varieties, wild rice is an aquatic plant; on the other hand, black rice is more comparable to brown rice in terms of composition, as both contain the bran layer.
Difference Between Brown Rice and Black Rice
Although both grains have the outer bran layer intact, black rice is completely un-milled. In other words, brown rice is semi-milled and no longer has its outer husk. In terms of taste and texture, black rice has more predominant nutty notes and is less chewy than brown rice.
What Goes with Black Rice?
When the rice is done, you can use it in any kind of dish that goes well with brown rice, such as a grain bowl, stir-fry, salad, or rice pudding. This includes a range of savory and sweet dishes.
