Instructions

  1. Prepare rice according to package directions.
  2. Place mushrooms in 2-quart saucepan. Pour water over mushrooms; let stand 20 minutes or until soft. Drain mushrooms and coarsely chop.
  3. Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add rice, mushrooms and peas. Stir until heated through.
  4. Add cheese; toss well.

Recipe Variations

For more whole grains use Jasmati® Brown Rice. To switch the recipe up, try cooking pearl couscous or Orzo for an Orzo with Peas recipe. Alternatively you could even try making it with Risotto Rice.
