  1. Make fresh rice in a rice cooker or heat up leftover rice in the microwave. If making fresh rice, be sure to account for an extra 20 minutes time to cook the rice.

  2. Add in butter and mix to melt.

  3. Add in pico de gallo and shredded chicken. Mix.

  4. Drizzle sesame oil to taste and mix.

  5. Notes: Other mix-ins or substitutions include shredded cabbage, green onions, crunchy ramen noodles, fried wonton strips, shredded pork, or cooked flaked fish.
