Royal Seafood Bake Recipe
- 3 cups cooked Royal Blend® Whole Grain with Texmati® Brown & Red Rice
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 6 oz fresh or canned crab meat
- 1 (4 oz) jar chopped pimientos, drained
- 1 (4 oz) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 cup slivered almonds
*Cooking tip: This recipe can substitute any RiceSelect Royal Blend product, including our Original Royal Blend, Whole Grain Royal Blend with Red Rice, Whole Grain Royal Blend with Wild Rice, Royal Blend with Flaxseed, and Royal Blend with Quinoa.
- Sauté onions, celery, and pepper in butter, add to cooked Royal Blend® with shrimp, crab, pimiento and mushrooms.
- Place in greased casserole and season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in mushroom soup.
- Cover and bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees F
- During the last 10 minutes of baking, sprinkle almonds on top and leave uncovered the remaining baking time
